A Friendly Nudge Toward Health at Year’s End |
Open Enrollment for Medicare Closes December 7, and December 15 for individual. We’re here for any question you have or just to shop around! As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to remind you (and me!) to take full advantage of our health benefits before they reset. Remember that benefits often do not roll over to next year, so now is the perfect time to review what’s available and schedule any appointments or services you’ve been putting off. Here are a few common benefits to consider:
Don’t let your benefits go to waste. Schedule your appointments soon to avoid the year-end rush and ensure you get the most out of your coverage. As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. That’s why I’m here. |

Steps to Help You Prepare Your Home for Winter |
Taking proactive steps to prepare your home and property for the worst of winter can save you time, money, and stress.
Home Maintenance Tackle essential home maintenance tasks that will help reduce energy costs and prevent winter damage. This includes cleaning gutters to avoid ice dams, inspecting your roof for any damage, and ensuring your heating system is serviced and running efficiently for the cold months ahead. Review Insurance Coverage Winter is an excellent time to review your insurance policies. With the potential for storm damage, frozen pipes, and other winter-related risks, ensure your coverage is up-to-date, and check that your limits and deductibles align with your current needs. Safety Precautions With shorter days and longer nights, adding extra lighting around your home can improve visibility and safety. Don’t forget to check that your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are functioning properly, especially as heating systems and fireplaces come back into heavy use. By preparing now, you’ll ensure your home is ready to handle the winter season, no matter what the thermometer says. Make sure in your quest to cut home insurance costs- that you have not eliminated important coverages in the process. Want a review? Hit us up! |
